Eye Tissues and Biosamples
We are proficient at recovering and processing a wide variety of ocular samples, including, lens, retina, cornea, aqueous, vitreous, whole eyes, optic nerve, iris and more. We also can collect blood specimens for biomarker discovery and genetic analysis. Recovery and laboratory staff are highly trained to ensure quality of ocular samples.
Preservation Media and Methods
We are able to flash freeze any tissue or dissected sample and store at either -80°C or -120°C until shipping. We can preserve your samples in a wide array of media and fixatives, including formalin, paraformaldehyde, glutaraldehyde-based, RNAlater, DMEM, PAXgene or your own proprietary media.
Donor Criteria
With our automated referral software, ReSync, we can match donor demographics, medical history to your specific exclusion and inclusion criteria.
